Is a Starbucks Card, and Starbucks reward card the same thing?

Whats the deal?? I already have an ATT Wi-Fi account, and a starbucks account. Now I want to buy a starbucks card @ the store, so i can use it. Is the Starbucks Card the same thing as a Starbucks Reward Card? I also want to use internet at Starbucks, though I am not a person who goes to Starbucks everyday.

Yes the Starbucks card (i.e. gift card) is the same as a rewards card. However, after loading (a minimum of $5) on it you must register it (free of charge) on Starbucks.com to unlock the rewards section of it. The rewards are:
2 hrs of free wi-fi per day
free refills on drip brewed coffee or tea (hot or iced)
free syrup or milk customization (i.e. a vanilla, soy latte would only be charged as a latte). The only milks they charge extra for in the first place are soy or a breve (cream). And they do not include any of the ’sauces’ like mocha or caramel sauce as a syrup – so a mocha or caramel macchiato would Not be discounted.

There is a Gold card as well – this is really beneficial for those who frequent a Starbucks a few times a week or more…OR for those whose drinks do not receive any of the above benefits or those who buy alot of pastries or merchandise.

There is an annual $25 fee – you get the free wi-fi which you mentioned you wanted.
You receive a 10% discount on most everything in the store everyday – all beverages, food, mugs, whole beans etc. It is essentially a ‘buy 10 get 1 free deal’ since that equates to 10% . I found for myself it’s a great deal because I go to Starbucks 5/wk and my drink is over $3 and doesn’t receive the free benefits usually. And now I can save on everything else too.
You get a free drink on your Bday, one when you sign up for the gold card and other special offers throughout the yr.

The Duetto is a Visa card – so a credit with a dual option to load $ on it and use as a Starbucks card. Of course they keep track of the credit card side and the Starbucks card side separately!

Yes, the "Starbucks Card" and the "Starbucks Reward Card" is the same thing. When you first purchase it in the store, it’s considered a "Starbucks Card" you’re buying. After you go online and register that specific card, you unlock exclusive benefits like free soy, discounts on certain drinks, a free tall coffee with a pound of coffee, and 2 free hours of Wifi every day. Once it’s registered is when it’s considered a "Starbucks Reward Card".

    starbucks has three cards:

a starbucks card (gift card). registering gets your free syrups, coffee refills, and free wifi.

a gold card. 10% off purchases. a few other extras that arn’t really worth it.

duetto card. starbucks visa card with well ir eally don’t know what you get with it, its not on our OMG pushsellsellsellsell list right now so no one cares. im sure at some point it will be the next

the best way to do this is to use your gold card for discounts and your sbux card for free bees. although most of the time you save alot more money with the free card than the gold card that costs $25. the gold card just remembers your birthday and tells you you’re special so people want it more
