can i use a standard mastercard creditcard to purchase online?
i’m thinking of applying my first creditcard.But there are many type of mastercard like:standard master card,gold master card,plantinum mastercard.I think i like the standard master card.but,i’m afraid i can’t use it to purchase online.can the standard master card be use to purchase things online?Help me please.
Sure it will work. All of the cards you mention will work. A master card is a master card – you just get better interest rates if you’re approved for a platinum over a standard one, say. But if it’s your first credit card, just apply for the standard one – who knows? the lender may approve you for a gold or platinum one. Be wise with your credit.

Whats a creditcard out there for bad credit?? AND is it bad to keep applying and getting denied by credit companies??? How do you rebuild your credit score?
That really sucks. You can try Orchard Bank MasterCard. Oh and if you do keep applying it is affecting your score. Everytime a creditor goes to check it lowers it. So the more it’s checked the more it goes down. Don’t try anymore than 3. And I’d agree with other person. Don’t apply for a credit card with any one other than a spouse. Your setting yourself up for some big problems. There might be a reason these creditors aren’t giving your brother a card that you might not be aware of.

The trick to credit cards, is to get them to pay you, instead of you paying them. The problem with pre-paid credit cards, is that you ALWAYS pay more.
Instead, consider this. Start a savings account, save some money in it, and get a secured credit card.
Get one with NO ANNUAL FEE.
Get one that gives you extended warranties.
If possible, get one that pays you every time you make a charge on it.
Pay the entire balance every month. This way, you never pay interest on the balance.
This way, you make interest on the money in savings.
You don’t pay any interest.
You don’t pay an annual fee.
You might make money when you charge something.
You have better warranty protection.
In other works get a credit card that makes money for you, and gives you protection, rather than one that costs you money.
PS: Any bank will give you a secured credit card if you have it secured with a savings account at their bank.

Just look up "secured credit card" and you can find a list of cards that you can get with a down payment. The credit card company has no idea that it is unsecured, they only know that you make your payments on time.(Make your payments on time). This will raise your credit score, and at anytime while you have the card, you can "cash out" of the card by canceling it.
