already had a card with them, they sent a second offer for another card i applied and got the card bt never activated it because they were gonna charge more interest on the second card. i never called to activate it!
Activation is really a thing of the past especially with regular credit cards as opposed to department store cards. I’m sure if you look back in the fine print of your account agreement you will find that fees are applicable at x time. If in doubt give them a call and have them point it out for you.
What is the best balance transfer credit card?
So I’m completely overwhelmed. I need one that’s going to have a low fixed rate after whatever introductory rate they have is expired. I really don’t know anything about this kind of thing, so any advice would be helpful. I have really good credit. Help!!
If you can become a member of a credit union, do so. Credit unions offer very reasonable interest rates to members on credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, and mortgages.
If you can’t, Discover Card is one of the better cards for paying off a debt, as their interest rates are fair to customers who pay their bill in a timely manner each month. Not all stores accept Discover Card, but their customer service is a lot nicer than the Big Guns of Bank of America, Capitol One, and the like.
If you can, look into accounts with Washington Mutual. Ihave been hearing good things about their customer service. Apply for a credit card through them as their bank customer, they should offer you reasonable fixed rates as a bank customer.
